You could pop in in the ground at the same time as your early potatoes; as potatoes, any small tubers left in the ground will sprout and grow anyway.

I put mine in 4" pots in April in the greenhouse. They came through very quickly and I planted them on the lottie in June. They have just collapsed this week so I hope to try some over the Christmas holiday.Whoever plants a garden believes in the future.

I'm sure there's a proper way but I kept mine in a paper bag in the spare room (not heated). It kept fine.Whoever plants a garden believes in the future.
