The idea is

16 of us grow some seeds for sharing out.

Then we share them out.

I don't know; if we make the distinction between what we have now to share and what we will be growing next year - then we have a good base for what perhaps is missing across the board....if you see what I mean!

I'd just do what [I assume] most people do and pick the veg that you like to eat or that you like the sound of....and we'll help you through the 'saving' part of it.

Flum - where did you get the Carruthers' Purple podded? Carruthers is my maiden name.

They were sent to me in a seed swap. I'm not intending to grow them again as although the peas were very sweet, they suffered from pea moth. You are welcome to them if you pm your address. If I could be mithered to sow them earlier (or later) I would probably miss the moths but I tend to sow all mine at once.

If anyone else would like some Carruthers, let me know and I'll split them up.

I have enough of Cherokee and Yin-Yang climbing beans to send some out now. I save plenty and use them as dried beans in winter.

I also have quite a few Bird's egg but they are so good as shellies that I'll be growing a lot - I could still spare a few packs of 10 though, like HSL send.
