My big badass Agave keeps having children and at present there are 2 or 3 very small youngsters in need of a good home.
Being succulents they cope well with drought and are pretty much maintenance free. I plant them in pots of soil based compost mixed with grit and chuck them out into the garden from May till the threat of frosts and then over winter them in an unheated greenhouse.
These plants are only a couple of inches across and would love a windowsill to live on for the first year till they have bulked out some.
