Serpents of Sicily

Morning all!! I'm on the scrounge....does anyone have a couple of spare 'Serpente di Sicilia' courgette seed to spare?? OH grew them a few years ago and they reached over 4 feet in length, he wants to have a go at even longer this year ( no dirty comments please )
Have got odd melons (Q. Anne's pocket, Early Silverline,), Peas (Avola, Progress no. 9,), Lettuce (black-seeded simpson, drunken woman) or squash True Green Hubbard, if you're interested. Thanks for reading, now I'm off back to watching the sleet come down

What on earth do you do with a 4' courgette (or even bigger). Is it just for show?

Obviously, it's a 'man' thing (think fishing). They're okay picked young for eating, but they're absolutely fantastic to see when grown over a pergola and the fruits are hanging down inside. We should have taken photos of our last ones, but never gave it a thought.
