Hi folks.
The time has come for me to pass the Seed Parcel Banner on.
We currently have 6 parcels going around the country. We did have 13 but 7 'disappeared' [some the people never sent the parcels on, some did go missing and Royal Mail never delivered].
So, is anyone up for the challenge???
Any nominations, to me please; and I'll collate and ask the other Mods for their views on who they think would be best placed to run it.
The main duties are:
a - Keeping a log of who has what parcel, and what the tracking numbers are; and tracking and chasing those that haven't sent or communicated. [Time management, diligence, extreme organisation]
b- Taking delivery of the parcels should they become too big or small; and mixing with any donations; and posting on [so not cheap, over the last year I've spent well over £40 on postage personally]
c - not getting upset when parcels go missing and the plan of who is getting what goes pear shaped. [calm in the face of adversity]
d - obtaining addresses and passing them on to the parcel holders; for posting on [so a secure system is essential]
I don't want to make it into any more than that; but if you think the above might be 'your thing'; please contact me and I'll pass the list of nominations on after the end of the month.
Many Thanks
