Not sure if anyone saw the recent articles in the papers and also on yahoo, but Waitrose have started selling punnets of Pineberries, a Strawberry that tastes like a Pineapple. Its white with red seeds. And was going extinct back in 18th Century and re-developed by a Dutch Farmer, and being sold exclusive to Waitrose, and much to my annoyance, once to the larger stores. So for me I would have to drive about 1.5hours to get to the nearest store that sells them.
I am wanting to try growing them myself, by getting the seed from the pineberries themselves.
Has anyone got any of the seed, or if eating them, could they take off the seed from the outside and send them to me, would be very very very greatful!!!
