I have also tried soya beans and found the result very poor. Only 1 pod per plant and a couple of beans in it Other sorts of beans for drying were much better producers. But maybe it is just me
Last year I tried soya as well, and didn't get any harvest at all. The plants just sat there with 2 leaves, presumably waiting for a different kind of summer. If you want a plant with complete protein, try quinoa, which I found easy and productive. You're welcome to send me a SAE.
