white summer squash

I'm having this monster for dinner. Its a Patty Pan summer squash, should've been picked tennis ball size!

We always let some of our patty pans grow 'large' they have a different taste to the little patty's (more like a winter squash). They do store okay too as we've still got a striped one stored in the dark kitchen cupboard.
