  • anyone want any cape gooseberry seeds?

I had 3 plants last year (2010) which produced a fairly good crop. For a variety of reasons, I forgot to harvest most of them and now they are all dried up little seed parcels!!

Anyone want any? PM me with details.

Not really needing anything but if anyone has a few tomato, chilli or pumpkin seeds they dont want, I'd be happy to have them in exchange.

    Ta muchly

Are these the 'Chinese Lanterns' that invade your garden with underground roots, and are impossible to get rid of?

I had some in my last garden, and they were a total pain!

How on earth did you get a crop? All I got was fruit smaller than a 5p piece that was inedible. What's your secret? 'fess up now I really like this fruit (except when I try and grow it) What sort of tom or chilli seeds are you looking for? But if we swap I think I will recognise your postcode cough, cough Secret Santa!

hey frosty you are funny! everyone knows santa sends his gifts to a central processing point...what on earth makes you think otherwise!!!!!

anyways, to the cape gooseberries - i have no idea of my 'secret', only that i start them off soonish in the house and then grow them on, finally planting either in pots or in the GH border...and always have thousands of them! and then no-one eats them so have decided to give up this year and grow something else instead!

re tom/chilli - just anything as like to try new things. only need a couple of seeds of whatever.

I would love some ... can swap for various chilli seeds if you like? If they grow in Fife, should be okay down here!

                        Hi Laura,
I popped a fair few potimarron and snowman squash seeds in the post for you quite a while back, did you get them? Ive not had any cape gooseberries this way yet, just wondering if theres been a mix up?
I hope they got to you as Im not sure I have too many left (if any) so let me know if they arrived safely. I put a 2nd class large letter stamp on so they should have been ok for postage.

" is that those syphilis fruit things?"

I almost fell off the sofa laughing!!!!
Scarecrow: Come along, Dorothy. You don't want any of *those* apples.
Apple Tree: Are you hinting my apples aren't what they ought to be?
Scarecrow: Oh, no. It's just that she doesn't like little green worms!

I've got LOADS of tomato seeds - about 10 different packets, if you still have some goosberry seeds? I;ve got big toms, right down to small ones
