  • Wanted please different varieties of mint seeds for school garden project.

    Hello all
As you know we are starting to garden at my sons primary school, 3 sessions a week with different age groups.
Im wondering if anyone has different varieties of mint seeds for the project? Really doesnt need to be a lot, just a few seeds of different types..... especially chocolate!!!!

We are starting off in pots due to lackof available land/space to put raised beds, and mint seems popular with the kids but I only have bog standard garden mint and they would like to try different flavours!

    Many thanks
    Donanx

Hi have you ever been to Reighton Nurseries near Filey/Brid, only they have a very wide selection of mint and other herbs masses of varieties of Thyme etc and they are very cheap. Some plants are 30-50p and if it grows at Reighton it grows anywhere . They are a very friendly family business and would be worth giving a ring they might be able to help you out with other stuff. Keep up the good work.

I'm lucky enough to live a few miles away. I'll never forget the first time I went, we filled the boot of the car for the price of 3 plants from Bridgemere where we used to live!

I tried jogging, but I couldn't keep the ice in my glass.
