Climbing French Bean wanted, and swaps to offer

I've finally got around to starting to think about my french beans. Last year I grew Blue Lake climbing bean and was very impressed - previously I'd only grown dwarf french beans which have never performed that well for me. I've saved loads of seed from the Blue Lake, but I'd love to try another tasty variety of climbing french bean, so if anyone has a few spare that they could recommend I'd love to hear from you!

I'm more than happy to send an SAE, or I have the following I can swap:

Blue Lake self saved (no surprises there eh )
Boltardy Beetroot
Runner bean Streamline
Sweet Genovese Basil (Dig in seeds)
Radish Zlata
Broccoli raab
Gherkin Parisian Pickling
Tomato Gardeners Delight (I know, I know, but someone might want them!)
Kohl Rabi Superschmeltz

Or is you have no climbing french beans but are still interested in any of the above seeds, let me know and I'll consider other swaps or an SAE. I wouldn't mind trying a different Kohl Rabi (purple?)...

If you still require some french beans I have some Cobra I can send you in exchange for some blue lakes. Had a near 100% germination on them sofar.

Pretty sure I have some 'Firetongue' Borlotto's, pipscariad.. Will need to double check the numbers as I'm sure I've recently sown ~80 of 'em. Shall check when I'm home tonight, and if you'd like to try a few that's fine (not after any swaps).

I've not tried them before, and we're planning on growing them for the dired beans - but will probably have a few imamture pods anyway

I also have golden tepee, albeit they're dwarf frenchies.

Argh! Sorry pipscariad, the packet was empty I saw it in the kitchen before I went to work, and thought there must be more in there!

I'm growingthem for the dried beans so if you don't grow them this year I'll definately post you some when harvested and dried properly?

Checked my other frenchies- all blue lake. I know you said climbers but offer of the dwarf golden tepees is still there

No worries Chris - I've done that myself several times before, thinking I'd still got seed left then finding none! I'd be interested in some for the future though, definately.

Thanks for the offer of the golden tepees (great name!), but climbers worked so much better for me - the slugs found the dwarf beans too handy for a quick snack...

Hi I have some polish french beans which are eaten as a french bean when young and are like a borlotti when fully ripened and some tigers eye beans which can be eaten as a french when young and then as a dried bean when fully ripened.

please let me know if you are interested and i can weigh them for a SAE

I had clear out of old seed packets the other day and noticed that the cobra I sowed a few weeks ago (too had 100% germination) were datemarked 2004! A great bean and saved seed always germinates well too.

Hi. I've got some Kentucky Wonder wax left if you want them. I can't tell you what the're like as it's my first year growing them.

The seed packet describes them as a prolific cropper of thick, fleshy, rounded pale yellow pods. Reputed to be one of the best for flavour. An American heirloom variety.
