Beetroot is currently being harvested, leeks well on their way and parsnip is drying out nicely.
Is it just me in this circle now?
Well, I can be in if you want dandelions?
I've some purple flowering peas that have all dried out nicely, not sure of count yet - I'll get them inside to dry off some more, but bar that - all my drying out bean pods bar a few that I didn't care about (blue & white or something) have been eaten (argh - I really wanted the hewitt ones to set well ).
yep my peas are being 'buggers' too - just as im about to pick the dry pods, it rains - so i havent got a clue what i will be putting in - only time will tell!
Right, have saved my purple flowered russian peas - they grow tall, and the flowers are lovely - along with the purple/salmon-y coloured axils (spelling/terminology?).
Not sure what else to save yet.. bar tomatoes I'm running a bit dry on things.
Edit: Oh, have some blue and white frenchies - but I'm not sure on numbers yet.. they're lovely looking beans so am growing all mine (6 seeds initially) to save from, will see and update when they're properly dry (pretty much there now).
Edit2: Have started to harvest said blue & white frenchies - should have enough for a few seeds each..
I am hoping for celeriac, but its now toppled over as the support broke...it is sort of flowering but I dont know whether to leave it a bit longer or take it up and hang it upside down?
Also celtus is flowering ok at the moment.
I do also have lots of large leafed sorrel if any one is interested in that (I have enough for virtual group as well I think)
Have just discovered that my delightful children have crumbled dried celeriac leaves into the seeds.....does this matter to anyone> Ive tried seperating it all but no joy Ruddy kids!!!
