I defiantly think I will need to buy plants for the vertical herb garden, there is a lot of space to fill and like newishgardener says I wont be able to rely on my seed strawberries for fruit in the first year. I want to do as much as I can from seed to get the experience but I think in the first year I will also need to rely on buying plants too.

I'll defiantly keep updating and will take pictures too throughout the year. Thanks for all the advice.

      Strawberries

Last year was my first year of growing and I bought two strawberry plants and they have produced lots of babies which I have now potted so I would recommend buying a plant or two to get started rather than waiting for seeds to grow.

I planted my first seeds on Mother's Day and have them on the windowsill - was very excited to see them growing. have now planted second lot of lettuce etc. V excited by it all :-)
