Just got home from an exhausting day, seeing friends for lunch, to find my 'pot luck seeds' have arrived.

      Thank you,VC.

Glad someone else had to ask what the black cherry seeds are, sound lovely, I'll be getting them sown tomorrow.

All very interesting, never grown 'pumpkin' before.

We had a talk on dahlia growing at the Hill last night, in the clubhouse, and I set up a seed swap table. Lots of interest, although it might take a while for everyone to get the knack of it! We'll make it a regular thing, I'm sure. Thank you VC for making it possible. x

Well my spare tomato seeds from the vsp went to the village hall this evening all 140 odd of them, to be honest I'm quite glad to have the greenhouse back!!!.

There were Baby yellow and Red Pear, Black Seaman, Cuore Di Bue, Cyrils Choice, Green Sausage Gelb Konigin, Black Heart, Striped Stuffer, White Queen and Chocolate Cherokee, all originally donated by you lovely peeps. They have been donated to my local gardening club to help fund the upkeep of the village hall. They have a plant sale tomorrow and there were about 6-7000 plant there it was amazing!!, so with a bit of luck there will be some VSP tomatoes being enjoyed all over the place this year.

I've kept a dozen strong healthy examples for the greenhouse at least one of each, and a couple of the Cyrils choice. Some friends had a few and the rest are going to good homes. I couldn't have done anything with them, I've been unsuccessful as yet in finding a new biger greenhouse and I didn't want them to go to waste. I've still got some white queen which were late developers if you want some.

I would like to apply for some seeds for my sister on the grounds of her abject poverty. She has only been able to afford 4 international holidays this year and they have had to put off varnishing the yacht due to the outrageous price of varnish. Their 40 foot conservatory needs the glass cleaning and she has lost the phone number of her "Little man" Worse still one of her breast implants has gone south and the other is heading north, how much is that going to cost?. She needs the seeds to scatter round her Bulgarian holiday home where it is likely some very poor children will be able to see them through the steel security gates. Thanking you in anticipation, Bill

Plant sale was a roaring success, there were about 200 people there when it opened, and by the time I'd bought a few things had a welsh cake and a cup of tea there wasn't much left.

Someone lovingly laminated my pictures and descriptions and stuck them onto sticks so all my little treasures soon vanished. Good job really its tipping it down now. No idea how much they'll raise, but we came back with some foxgloves, eryngium, gladioli, a tray of leeks and broccoli as I'd not got around to starting any plus quite a few other bits and pieces the OH picked up.

I do love a good plant sale.

Bill, if your sister would like to send me a SAE I will gladly send her some seeds so that she can grow her own money plant - its called "Royal Mint".
Please make sure that she sends enough stamps to cover the airfare to the Bahamas.

Hi. I managed to get quite a lot of my seeds to grow. Have given quite a lot of them to various people I know who have had a bad run on seeds not taking or people who need them more than me.
So the seeds have come in useful for lots of people as well as me. Thanks again.
