Chayote / Christophene seeds/plants

I've never seen the seeds for sale, I think you need the fruit?.

Apparently there are no seeds,they only grow from the fruit itself,it splits then grows a shoot and roots,then the fruit rots away,the place to go look is an asian type shop,also when they growing,you can snap the growing tips of to eat in a salad,then that will grow 2 more new tips,although i get the impresion it's more fore the warmer climate
