I've never tried Beams but I find all the yellow toms to be mild...often a favorite with the kids. I grow yellow pear every year.

Zelenina, sorry but I can't offer any advice on seed shops in Frankfurt - I'm up North. Nor on the sausage question - veggietarian....
...bonkers about beans... and now a proud Nutter!

I'm sorry but I've no idea what you're getting at. That was a perfectly innocent remark about German food. Size does make a difference when it comes to sausages. After you've tried a bratwurst, a pork chipolata just isn't adequate any more.

Ah I've just seen this VC!
Mine didn't work this year at all! Well, the ones I planted didn't, the ones that fell in between the courgettes by accident did! And they only had one head, not multi headed like their Mum!

These sunflowers smile at me every time I pass by. Thank you Ancee for brightening up my day
You may say I'm a dreamer... But I'm not the only one...

I'm an official nutter - an official 'cropper' of a nutter! I am sooooo pleased to be a cropper! Hurrah!

Just found some ole piccies up and thought I would share them to tempt you to grow them yourselves.

French Climbing Bean - District Nurse. I don't think the HSL description does this one justice

It's time for a Victor Meldrew moment!

These Facing Heaven seeds came to nothing last year. NOTHING! I put the rest in my propagator a couple of weeks ago and look: I have 2 nearly facing heaven chilli babies...

If they keep on going, fresh facing heaven chillies will be back in the VSP.

Excellent news, Sparrow, because they were the last ones in the VSP. Their future lies in your hands

I checked the packet again and they had 'TLC' written on them. Not sure if that's a username or a growing recommendation!

Maybe TLO? The large one - he is a chilli fan though hadn't been on the vine for a while

Yes, it was The Large One. Lots of Chilli seeds from TLO and many of them will be going out for viability testing as they've been around for a few years.
                              Hope everyone succeeds with them.

Looky looky, it's a teeny tiny Lipstick pepper!

Except again, I sowed them all and binned the envelope. D'oh. Thank you whoever sent them in.
