I have been trying to germinate seeds from my osakazuki maple tree for nearly a decade and for some reason this year I have 5 seedlings so far, and they were treated the same way as previous attempts, and there seems to be 3 different colours/types so growing them on for bonsai is going to be interesting, i never thought it would take so long but as it was my single failing I wasn't going to give up easily, oooooooohhhhh I do feel smug as OH asked if it was another failure ,happy boy..
