Clearing out Polytunnel - Burn Tomatoes & Chilli Plants?

Started the big clear down in the Polytunnel. The tomatoes died back (think it was grey mould die back). Anyway... Should I be thinking of burning the foliage of all plants (or just the tomatoes and put remainder on compost heap? Peppers & Chilli plants do not look diseased

It seems a good idea to burn diseased plants, you don't want to re introduce it by composting, if the compost does not get hot enough, it may come back to bite you again. I would also disinfect the tunnel.

It depends where you are going to use the compost, on the flower garden or outside, I would put everything on the heap. I don't like burning anything so if I have anything noxious that I wouldn't want anywhere in the garden, I put it under a big oak tree in a corner that is separate from where I grow (or sometimes in the verge on the opposite side of the road. Last year when I cleared out the polytunnel, I put the tomato vines that had tomato leaf mould infection on the lawn and just mowed them in without the collection bag. The lawn is looking nice and green now - with no hint of tomato leaf mould and this years tomatoes are still going strong.
Example of noxious stuff for the big oak or grass verge are things like soil from round an onion found with mouldy nose.
