Footings? I dug down about a spade deep, about 8inches wide and filled it with concrete.

#brother filled it with concrete and chippings

I had one of those double wall polycarbonate 12" * 10" greenhouses, It just exploded in a storm, it was wierd to watch actually, it like all squeezed in at first like it was going to implode, then it was like a bomb went off inside and proper exploded, I had to fetch the panels from several houses down lol, and I'd siliconed all the panels in as well, I'll never get one of those again

thankfully the insurance replaced it with a 12*10" Toughened Glass one, so I got really lucky there, they even put it up for me

I wouldn't recommend glazing with poly-carbonate on anything exposed to wind like you would glass - when I use it I always screw or bolt it down ie drill through the sheets and anchor it mechanically to the wood or metal below - yet to lose anything set like that in the last 20 years and it gets extremely windy up on the hill where I live.

From comments on this thread and others, everyone lives in a windy place! I know my garden is too, near the sea as we are. Seems a bit daft for manufacturers to sell polycarbonate greenhouses in the UK really - a bit of a con. It must have been some sight seeing your greenhouse explode Urban
Mostly flowers, some fruit and veg, at the seaside in Edinburgh.
