urgent shed assembly help needed!

iv been offered a shed which i thought i wasnt going to be able to pick up until jan. the woman whos giving me it was waiting for some builders to come then. she rang me yesterday to say they are now coming in tuesday! iv got no idea how to dismantle it! i had a quick look today and it looks like it needs a crowbar to the edges because the peices are nailed together but the main problem is the roof. i know roughly how sheds come so i think there will be roof, 2 long sides and 2 short sides one with the door in. if theres any help on any website somewhere i cant find it so need help asap!!

Best help you can get is a couple of strong men!! Yes, you're right - you take the roof off, then the four sides, and then the floor/base. Sounds easy doesn't it? You will, however, end up with scraped knuckles, back pain, possibly twisted ankles etc. However it will be worth it when you have your own shed! Good luck.

mark up the insides before you take it apart. I drew a line from side A to side B so I could match them up on reassembly. A really quick job if you do it systematically.
Remember to raise it up high enough (about four bricks on top of each other height) so you don't get rats nesting under the floor.

Sorry to butt in but I'm having similar trauma with a handy store that I got from a well-known home improvement chain - the instructions said build time of two hours.....so far it's taken three days and lots of wailing and gnashing of teeth!

oh im not worried about putting it back together, its the taking it apart! im not woried about it being heavy or anything like that its just how to take it apart! need to get hold of a cro bar!

You shouldn't need a crow bar!! We just used a claw hammer to remove nails, a spanner (or two) to undo bolts, and a screwdriver!! (And two strong men to help with the lifting and moving)
