I got mine from Focus, not the best build quality in the world, but the price was right! They ranged from £79 up to £139 at the time I got it, it's 7'x7' and was £129.

      Here's some lateral thinking:
If the council want the shed to LOOK decent, why not cover it over with a climbing rose/clematis/passiflora/ivy?
Even a coat of paint will make it look tidier.
That way, it can be made out of any old carp like pallets.

I picked one up from Focus last week.

As we're only allowed 6' x 4' max on our site (Thanks to Gosport Council) other than getting a dog kennel my options were limited when it came to size.

The cheap 6' x 4' version (it is cheap but build quality is reasonable, mine put together fine and is now quite homely) is £99. However, take my advice and take an OAP with you when you buy - OAP's get a 10% discount on a Tuesday. My friends mother was all too willing to assist, in exchange for a lifetime's supply of raspberries For £89 you can't beat it.

            Hope this helps,

If it knocks 10 quid of the price of a shed, don't knock it!

Anyone else found any bargain sheds? I'm after a new one, not a cobbled-together one (because I am hopeless at building anything, even my cold frame fell apart), but £100 is my absolute max.

Focus do a 6 x 4 overlap apex for £99. I wonder if its any good?

                        A suggestion:

Place an advert in your local paper "Shed wanted".....there are always people who have unwanted sheds often for the fetching. Any replies will be exclusive for you (no competition) so you can really haggle

Not round here there isn't... they're as rare as hen's teeth. I've had two hand-me-down sheds (see my avatar) and they're a lot of trouble to locate, dismantle, move and put back together. Then repair the roof/guttering/sills/floor. I've done it.
This time, I just want a smallish cheapish jobby that I know will be good from the word go. I guess the Focus £99 one is the one then.

I'm with Piglet Willie on this, it's well worth asking the DIY stores if they have an ex-display model. I got a fab shed recently from B&Q half price just cos it needed a minor repair.

On my old allotment I got my shed from a local company who usually charge £20 more for erection but when the guy delivered it and saw what a mess I was making of putting it together he very kindly put it up for me too - so if you can't grab a granny, it might help to grab a feeble-looking girl!
