The greenhouse does need a thorough clean, but don't forget the other stuff that lives in there. When I first bought my greenhouse I annually washed the frame and glass, disinfected all the pots and trays, then completely forgot about the staging for the first three years, it's one of those things which you just seem not to see. So take the staging outside and give it a very good scrub then let it dry in some of that lovely winter sunshine which I'm sure we're going to get....one day.
Into each life some rain must fall........but this is getting ridiculous.

        Staging?
I use a decorators pasting table which I can store in the shed when not in use!
The river Trent is lovely, I know because I have walked on it for 18 years.

Many thanks for all your tips - a selection of which have been passed to GYO for the February magazine.

This is still an interesting subject so keep posting your tips - they are much appreciated.

            Remember to ventilate your greenhouse
even thru the winter to deter damp loving diseases

If you need staging or a workbench for your greenhouse carefully breakup a wooden pallet and make your table. they are excellent for walkway decking too.
