What size pots

What size pots should I use for growing tomatoes and cucumbers? These will be grown in the greenhouse.

I've found that the pots sold in garden centres etc as "Tomato Pots" are actually too small, unless you want to be watering twice a day in hot weather. I've had good results with the black 'flower buckets' which you can sometimes get free/cheap from anywhere that sells flowers (supermarkets, garage forecourts, etc). Don't forget to put drainage holes in them though!

About 10 inches diameter and 12 inches deep should be OK - roughly 10 litres and flower bucket size!
