was bored with watching the rain falling so had a trip out to local garden centre. walked tru the doors and found a large cloche on offer £44 down to £15 so bought it and have now made it up and fitted it over one of my raised beds.

That looks like a good buy. When I started growing my own I never considered that the plants would need umbrellas! More and more tempted to roof the whole garden!Last edited by shirlthegirl43; 20-01-2008, 03:15 PM.Happy Gardening,

its 6ft long by 4ft wide and the apex is about 2.5 ft. idea for growing cabbage and broccoli. it has zipped flaps on each side with a mesh underneath to keep pests and butterflies out. comes with pegs to fix to floorLast edited by hawthorns; 21-01-2008, 05:00 PM.my plot march 2013http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SvzqRS0_hbQ

Ooohhhh, what a great buy! Looks like quite a sturdy one as well. I've seen a few but haven't bought them since they didnt look as though they could even withstand a breeze! Well done you!!!!Life may not be the party we hoped for but since we're here we might as well dance
