  • 6X6 B&Q Greenhouse BARGAIN!!!!

Just had to share it with you.
I have been keeping a check on two of our local B&Q stores as they are closing when a new super B&Q opens on thursday.
My idea was to leave it late as possible and then hopefully grab a greenhouse at a bargain sale price.
WOOOOHOOOOO IM BUZZIN . I got me a Palram silver line 6x6 pollycarbonate with base (the same as listed in the link below) for a meager £75 reduced from £280.
6ft x 6ft PALRAM GREEN GREENHOUSE WITH CLEAR POLYCARB on eBay, also Greenhouses, Garden Structures Fencing, Garden Plants, Home Garden (end time 25-Feb-08 19:01:07 GMT)
Does any one have the same, would love some pros and cons.
Im so lucky.........Life is good Regards Minty X

Wow! thats what I call a result! Well done you!

I had some "managers specials" from B&Q last summer, 2 garden arches £3, roll of chicken wire £1 and 2 rolls of plastic coated garden wire fencing £1.....I was chuffed to bits.

I love a bargain and luck was smiling on me that day!

              Nice bargin there!!

I got a mid section of an oasis poly thing today at b and q for a fiver...... rather random and can't be made into a proper greenhouse, but hopefully a decent cold frame or something I really must stop buying things because they are cheap Someone walked away with a full one for £50!! Love b and q for a bargin! Have fun with your new greenhouse...

                          Thanks guys.
As it is pollycarbonate i have decided to lay slabs and bolt the greenhouse to them (heard too many stories of flying greenhouses).
Laid the slabs today and that told ME how fit i was , i`m absolutely "tatered"!.

Our 2 local B&Q stores closed today so i went " a`rummaging" again. I went in search of something to put the slabs down on and took a gamble with 14 bags of winter grit(25p a bag) and it seemed to go down ok so suppose time will tell.
I also took advantage 5 minutes before they closed and got 1 bag of decorative pea shingle for £4 and got another 15 bags for free .
So through all the aching limbs things seen to be going well.
                          Thanks Minty X

Hi Seahorse , not from Yorkshire but was mentally abused with Sunday night episodes of "Last Of The Summer Wine" as a small child .
Yep 15 bags free as i believe ten minutes after i bought it they would have thrown them away.
Really done well from the B&Q Closure also got a Gardman wheelbarrow reduced from £25.00 to a tenner.
GOD IT`S GOING TO HURT PAYING NORMAL PRICES FROM NOW ON .
                              Minty X
