  • New greenhouse owner

This is the first spring I've had my (unheated) greenhouse. I have some mizuna and some lamb's lettuce (which hasn't done much!) along with over wintering flowers (geranium, chrysanth etc) in there at the moment.

What can I start to sow or do at the moment? I don't have greenhouse beds, and it's 8' x 6'. I used grow bags and large pots last summer when I got it, and have a four foot length of single shelf staging.

Hi sweetcorn, I have started my cauliflowers, cabbage and some parsnips, leeks and other various of veg seeds in the greenhouse (unheated) and seem to be ok my cauliflower seeds are just starting to sprout through, I also planted some onion seeds that have also started sprouted, best to just sow what veg you fancy and see what the sowing dates on the pk’s say. I’m just doing small amounts at a time trial & error.

i got plastic stacking shelves from B&Q last year for shelving and is just the trick for the use needed to store seed trays on.
