No...They should be fine, just pop it on again. They are still in a protected environment in the propagator aren't they.

Toms are renowned for being wimps, and even a sniff of frost will be painful, however, inside a greenhouse, inside a propogater you may have a chance of getting away with it.

Took me ages to think of that, glad you spotted it

Hawthorn - it may set them back a little, but it is worth keeping them to see what happens.

I cooked some seedlings last year in the sun - when that happens you know very quickly if there are any survivors!!

Frost does tend to knock things down quickly, so I would think that if they'd been harmed it would be obvious. The propagator will have kept some of its heat in overnight as even when you deliberately switch them off they take a while to cool down.
Into each life some rain must fall........but this is getting ridiculous.

Have a look at the seedlings and if they look OK then they are OK although may be stalled a bit but if they look like they have frost damage then they probably won't recover. No worries if they've had it anyway as it's early for toms as yet so you have loads of time to plant more, won't be sowing mine for about a month yet as I haven't enough warm space for them when they get bigger so am saving that space for chillies and peppers which need a much longer growing season to fruit well.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?
