  • Indoor Propagation

Right, it's getting to that time of year again when everything is queuing for a turn in my one, small electric propagator. Apart from the airing cupboard, I've also been known to take advantage of the central heating boiler and the heat which rises from the back of the freezer (just pop the trays on top) Is there anywhere that I've missed?
Into each life some rain must fall........but this is getting ridiculous.

How about putting a shelf a couple of feet above a radiator or you could just get electric laid on to the greenhouse and have a bigger propagator

    2/3's of mine

I don't want to go the whole hog with a radiator shelf, but I've put a folding table by one - I'd love to lay electricity on to the greenhouse, but sadly the two and a half miles of cable that I'd need to reach the lotties would probably be a bit expensive.

My lovely mum bought us an electric propagator for Christmas so I've started some tomatoes & peppers in it so far. We didn't want to start things off too early as it was far too cold in the greenhouse for them to move into, but the night temperatures look like they're going to be a bit higher from now, so I'm going to get loads more things started in the propagator asap now.
                  I've had my weetabix...
