Having just sown a whole raft of softie seeds, you know, the squash, french beans and other tender stuff, space in my home greenhouse was just non existent.
To remedy that about 60 tomato plants are going to the tunnels on my allotments in the morning and will be liberated from their pots and planted directly into the soil.
All have the first truss of flowers so hopefully I will be picking the first fruit in early June.
Isnt this just the most difficult time of year, having to juggle stuff about trying to keep all the plants in suitable conditions till the threat of frosts is over.
