Holidays

I am seriously considering a greenhouse but think I will only be able to use it for raising veg seedlings and starting off bedding plants. I would love to be able to grow tom's. and cucumbers but would strugle to find someone to look after them whilst we were on holiday. My wife is a deputy head at a local school and so we have plenty time for holidaying. The vegatable garden isn't such a problem as this does not require attention every day.

How well do the greenhouse watering systems work and for how long can they be left unattended? (Would have to be a gravity fed tank jobie. There would be no tap in or near the greenhouse.) Would automatic vents and louvres take care of ventilation?
