I'm gonna slightly disagree with Flum here - we used multi-purpose this year and its not as good for seedlings as last years 'seed compost'. Well that could be that its a cr@p multi purpose, or it could be that its better to use a compost made for the purpose. My take on it from now on will be where small seeds are concerned I will be using seed compost from now own. Most people don't use much of it in a season and its best to get your seeds off to a good start (and it does have a slightly different mix of nutrients).

Do they look healthy and green? Are they still growing? Whats to worry about? Cover them over with fleece at night if you think its going to be very cold.
