home made polycarb greenhouse

i am thinking of making a polycarb greenhouse. i would bend 50mm galvanised pipe to make the frame and clad this with polycarb sheeting. will somebody advise me on size of pipes the spacings of the pipes and what height should the sides of the greenhouse be also what type of sheeting reinforced etc. i am thinking of bolting the greenhouse to the foundation. or should i put a few rows of blocks on the foundation and bolt the greenhouse to the block wall if i did this would it help to keep out slugs, mice etc
i am only in the planning stage so any advise will be useful i found a supplier of the polycarb sheeting in Dublin and will fabricate the frame my self i have access to all the gear

i suppose a greenhouse website will give dimensions of what you require...only problem i see is how you attach the sheet to a pipe...

i will attach the sheeting to the pipes using Tex screws these are special screws that have a drill bit tip and have treads behind the tip . they are a drill and self tapping screw all in one. they also come with a strong rubber washer

The old fashioned metal frame beds are great for this. They have long sections of steel rightangles which are solid stuff. The hard part was drilling them to attach sheeting to them.
