The 8'x6' greenhouse at home in the back yard is stuffed full of seedlings, and as of today the 10' x 8' on plot 1 is now fully planted with 10 tomato plants, 2 aubergines, 2 cucumbers, 6 chillies and 8 peppers, along with some catchcrop lettuces (8) and some french marigolds (to deter one of the pests)! At the moment the plants in there look very well spaced, but I'm sure as they start to grow that it'll start to look just as crowded as it did last year!

Ah, how I would love to have the space time and money for a polytunnel as well as my 10 x 6 greenhouse (heated).

I have 10 tomatoes( 5 F1 Bambinos and 2 plum tomatoes), 5 cucumber plants, a stupid amount of cut and come again mixed salad leaves, carrots and leeks that somehow ended up in the same pots ( I swear I did not sow the seeds together!) more separate leeks, courgettes, about 6 italian summer squash/courgette things, beetroot, sweet peppers, watercress, strawberries, purple sprouting and nasturtiums( they have yet to germinate) and way too many watermelon seeds waiting to show their faces. Plus about 40 runner beans (plus extra for my newbie friend), 31 French Beans, and a LOT of pointed summer cabbage. Plus lots of sweetcorn too. Also trying to grow swede....

I just don't have enough room - not having an allotment is so hard - they're so dificult to get around here!!!

                  Greenhouse currently has
                  • About 80 beans
                  • 12 melon plants
                  • 9 courgettes
                  • 18 tomato cuttings
                  • 14 peppers
                  • 2 large chili plants
                  • 1 large potato in a pot
                  • about 100 flower seedlings
                  • 2 gutters of peas
                  • 1 gutter of salad leaves

Plus the usual collection of pots/compost/trowels/odd and wotsits that collect in every greenhouse!

The tunnel has 32 planted tomatoes, 6 'no dig' potatoes, various lettuces and herbs, spring onions and radishes, 8 pots of strawberries and the remains of some tulips which I grew in there earlier in the year.

Nothing - it got so hot in there this last week that I have moved everything out, including the racks! A lot has already gone into the ground but I am slow with everything else on account of only having one usable hand. The plaster is on for another four weeks so life should be interesting getting the rest of it in. By the way, I am intrigued, do you mean actual guttering. If so are they growing in that or do you just start them off in it.
