  • Greenhouse Staging

My new greenhouse staging has come with a covering of what I would call wriggly tin (sinusoidal aluminium to be posh). I can see the point of reflecting sunlight etc. but how on earth do you stand pots on it? Is it supposed to be covered with something?

Aerodynamically the bumblebee shouldn't be able to fly, but the bumblebee doesn't know that so it goes on flying anyway.

Don't know Jennie. Googled that one but nothing very informative. Can only suggest phone the makers and ask for advice and in the meantime stand pots on trays. Intriguing. Will keep thinking about that.

      Hi JA,

Try your local farm supplies & get some twilweld mesh ( smaller the better) & put this over then stand your pots on this. you could put some cappilary matting on but that defeats the idea of slatted staging & the airflow then. I always make mine from 1" x 2" tanalised roofing Lathes it's a lot cheaper & I can have it how I want it.
