I'm still closing mine and it was over 10 last night. However, it's still so variable. I usually wait for it to be into double figures so I'm probably just being cautious!Whoever plants a garden believes in the future.

If you go to BBC Gardeners' World - practical gardening advice from the experts at Gardeners' World they have a 7 day weather forecast for your area, giving loads of useful information, such as highs and lows, what it feels like, humidity etc. Brilliant resource. I've been leaving my door open during the day (along with all windows, vents etc.) but shutting it at night, just leaving the louvre open.

I'm a great believer in watching the moon (and howling to it now and again)so I'd wait until after the next full one.http://norm-foodforthought.blogspot.com/
If it ain't broke, don't fix it and if you ain't going to eat it, don't kill it

There is no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing.

Surely it depends on what you've got in your greenhouse, as it will also affect humidity levels?A bad days fishing is still better than a good day at work!

Never leave my door open at night, even in the hottest days of summer. I have both an auto vent and window which will open if it gets too hot.
Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.
Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

We are going on holiday a week on Sunday so I have been leaving mine open at night for the last three nights. Because the MIL who is looking after the plot and polytunnel cannot go up twice a day to look after it. So I was hoping that it would be okay but tonight I have closed both doors.
Just for anyone's information I needed a door on the bottom of the opening to let airflow but stop animals getting in. My OH bought some battons to make a frame but because he didn't have time to make it I put the shelves off my mini greenhouse on edge with two one on top of the other and thread a cane through each end. It works very well and allows load of fresh air in but I felt that it might be a bit cool tonight so I have closed both doors though there is mesh at the top of the door.
