  • bubble wrap question

Hello, I've been cleaing out th greenhouse today and started to bubble wrap the sides. I know that you need to get as much light in as possible this time of year, but the nights are getting colder, so should I bubble wrap the whole greenhouse roof etc., or leave it and get as much light in as poss? Risking the plants

I have peppers and young plants in there at the moment and have a 2kw electric heater on standby
    cheers Helen

I always put old polystyrene insulation sheets on the bottom of the walls and then bubble wrap the rest of it but won't be doing it for a month or so yet as I've still got summer crops ripening in there. As hot air rises, you'll lose most heat out the roof bit but you also need to ensure that you ventilate from time to time, especially on sunny days otherwise it can get quite stale and damp in there. I know you're further north than me but this does seem a bit early to be insulating or do you have frost risk already?

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?
