    im thinking about moving my greenhouse. how deep should the footings be for a 4ftx6ft light weight acrylic greenhouse be

    hindsight is a wonderful thing but foresight is a whole lot better

    At least 4ft deep and 2ft wide mass filled with concrete and bolted down with 9 inch rawl bolts the frame definately wont blow away, not so sure about the panes though boing boing

      been reading into it and the web site where i got the greenhouse from say that it doesnt require concrete footings. i think i will lay slabs and fix it to the solid wooden fence

        My 6 x 8 garden greenhouse is screwed onto 4" X 4" lengths of timber and has never shifted in 7 years.
        Sorry Holedigger, but I think 4ft deep x 2ft wide and 9" rawlbolts is a tad on the overkill side
