Often referred to on here as a "blowaway", on the grounds that is what happens when used outside more often than not, I use mine inside my glass greenhouse. Because the glasshouse is unheated, these perform the perfect task of being an unheated propagator and also as part of the hardening off process for stuff started in the conservatory(which is double glazed and frost free). Later when the weather warms up the plastic cover comes off and the shelves are a perfect place to put plants prior to going outside.
Currently there's broad beans, leeks, cress and a small tray of cut again lettuce on the go.
