    Well, it's a greenhouse.

I live in a part of the UK with very mild winters. Please take this into account before thinking "if he is sowing those now...."

Oh dear. We are members and we're half planning a trip to see the exhibition.

I don't really hold with convincing: it supposes that the convincer has some privileged access to the truth, and it seldom works anyway.

That looks quite magical to me.

That said, I don't get arrangements of concrete breezeblocks. But the artist and some visitors, at least, must. I once went to the Guggenheim in Bilbao with a friend who's a proper biologist. One of the rooms contained a very large double helix made out of wood. I admired the amazing workmanship and the quality of the wood, but to me it remained a model. My friend, however, was blown away. I remember the work only because of his response to it.

I hope you enjoy your visit quanglewangle.

I'm pretty sure that my brain works in a different way to some other peoples when it comes to Art. At best I see something skillful, but pointless. At worst just a con.

Without the special lighting from the projector a cinema screen would look like any other wall.

Without the special painting the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel would look like any other plastered ceiling

Actually the lamp is quite plain, the shading is due to the chalk paint on the glass.

It’s good and interesting that people appreciate things in different ways.
Imagine being the first Neanderthal or Denisovan who blew coloured ochre creating an outline of their hand on a rock. What might their fellow family members have thought…. Intrigue or a rolling of eyes . All that led to stunning cave art thousands of years ago….leading to our appreciation of art now.

                Enjoy your visit Q.
