New Grower needs greenhouse advice

As an offer of a free greenhouse has just fallen through I have a bit more time to think about it all before I dive in. So here are a few questions I'd really like your help with :

1. Grow in beds or grow in bags and pots ?? What are the pros and cons of each?

2. Apart from the different glazing options of glass, safety glass, polycarbonate etc. what is the difference between say a £145 B&Q frame and £1000 frame of the same size ?

Please asume no prior knowledge as i have none !! :-)

Sorry to here about the G/h don't give up there are loads to pick up ... honest.

As to your other questions,

1. Beds will always be better as it will give a free root run for the plants and won't be so liable to dry out. Cons - more space needed and you can't move them around the garden. Bags - I know people do use them and have good results but they aren't as good as the other options - they're shallow and the roots can get baked in the sun better to use Pots/Tubs get the biggest you can and they'll do you proud.

2, Main difference between the frames is the build quality and the frame strength. I've got an AGL 8x6 and the frame bends under it's own weight with no glass in where as the other g/h is a lot better made and thicker aluminium in the frame ( with costs more) and is a lot stiffer. The Rhino house advertise by haveing a couple of burly bods sitting on the ridge bar - If you did this on my AGL you'd bang your Ar5e on the floor
