  • Panel repair

Hi, I am borrowing a greenhouse. There are a few panes of glass missing. I don't want to spend money on glass (as I'm using it on a temporary basis) so just wondered what you would use to repair it to get me through a season or two. Thanks

Glass is surprisingly cheap. Far cheaper than plastics.
Location:- Rugby, Warwckshire on Limy clay (within sight of the Cement factory)

Always worth getting a few spare from my experience if you are planning on keeping it?
Once there is a Spring storm the glass panels sell out quickly- usually just when your plants aren’t yet frost hardy.
One year I had to wait 5 weeks for replacement glass. I was not a happy bunny to say the least.

Very pleased you’ve found a solution- and…( how rude of me!) …a belated welcome to the Vine!
