I've got several plants overwintering in the greenhouse (dahlias, fuschias, geraniums etc). I protected them with polystyrene, egg trays, fleece, bubblewrap etc, but I'm thinking it probably wasn't enough for this year. They did fine last year. I don't want to disturb anything though, as it will just let the cold in. I've also got broad beans and sweet peas coming on, as well as auriculas. I know I'll have to wait for the temperature to rise a bit before I check for damage, but not knowing is
I'm just hoping that if I lose the plants, the slugs will cop it too
