B&Q Bargain Growhouse

Hello All

I bought one of these last year when they were reduced from £40 to £20. It has withstood a year of all sorts of weather and it still looks like new. It has a rigid metal frame, not a clip together plastic pole one like a previous growhouse which I had, and which fell apart in the first autumn gale

My local B & Q didn't stock them when I first went to buy one but I took a print from the internet and they ordered it for me.

Anyway, I have just noticed that they are advertised again on the B & Q website, now at £15, imo well worth a try!

Thanks for the tip but the missus has pointed out that if I get anymore greenhouses/cold frames I might as well simply roof over the entire garden. Mind you I might just be able to sneak one more in....

That's what they told me last year, but then they called the central depot and ordered one or me - at no extra charge!

I've just typed in every major town I can think of, and none of them have stock within a 50 mile radius

It's saying "Out of Stock" on the website too. Pity cuz I'm looking for something to replace the little plastic one I've got

We've got that one, it's very sturdy [when you put some bricks on the bottom shelf] but the plastic ripped last year.

They're very good, if you can get hold of them, ripped plastic or no ripped plastic.

My eldest daughter works at B&Q and she's going to try and find out if there's any available anywhere. I'll keep you all posted

B&Q Bargain Growhouse

Very tempting. might go for one myself at £15. Wonder if I will get my pensioners 10% discount if I go in on a wednesday.

I had a look at my seed’s and seedlings and realise I need more space I have a very complicated design for taking out some of the glass at the back of the greenhouse and using plastic to extend it when I need more space but this plastic green house would be ideal............... Grantham didn’t have any today. Well back to plan B and my plastic draped over a wooden frame and the heater in-between!!
