    Mind your finger nails!! The 'w' clips are a bit vicious and can fight back but once you start you soon get the hang of it.You can add as many clips as you need,usually two on each side but if you have an exposed site I'd double it.I wouldn't glaze in a high wind though and the forecast isn't brilliant tomorrow. You'll be blown away!!!

      Don't use nails!

      Seriously, is it a new house or secondhand?

      Does it use any mastic for the glazing method?

      Mine uses gently curved stainless steel spring, hard to describe, but a ] shaped bit clips on the frame which is an upside down W and a long C running off it has its tail on the glass and its curve locked under the wdge of the W.
      Invert this:

      ___
      |======glass
      W

      But and this is important, there is a little Y each side of the | and these have a bead of mastic on the V of the Y and the glass actually rests on that.

      So both stuck (sort of) and spring clipped.

        z clips and w clips to secure the glass in place on the frame! Most garden centers do packs of clips if you need extra!

        If its a new greenhouse, you should get some putty type stuff with the kit to cushion the glass to the frame! If is second hand then there are other other things you can use between the glass and the frame. Its a single sided sticky padded strip on a roll like draft excluder, then your clips!

        Sorry I can't remember the web sight for the sealer strip but If you have a Google you should be able to find something!

          Thanks for the replys guys,

          It's a new Greenhouse started the glazing today so far i have the windows in and half the roof glazed.Hopefully get the rest done tomorrow.There is silcone supplied with the glass,which is applied to the frame and the glass rests on that,then fixed with 'W' clips.The glass seems to be good and secure this way.So far have only come across one pane of glass that was broken must have happened in transit.
