What have you got germinating/growing..

Tomatoes, chilles, peppers, Aubergines, Broad beans, peas, Caulis, Brussels, PSB, Boer pumpkin, Gem Squash, sweetcorn & leeks - only a few of each under lights on the cill.....

i added a load of cut and come again salads today, more spring onions, fast growers ishikura? some beetroot for the leaves, and some apple seeds ( it's a childhood thing), also some early nantes carrots in tubes, may have to move out there is no room left for us!

oh and started some aubergines.

Seven little tomato plants which germinated from the sowing on 27th December.

Parsley and basil on the windowsill, and some tiny rosemary plants which I grew from slips.

A pepper plant from last year.

French beans as per Piglet Willie's suggestion.

Outside, garlic, onions starting up and of course, herbs.

Here in New York we are having a snowstorm, however, I am starting seeds for the greenhouse. The tomatoes will be Best Boy, and Bush Beefsteak which are determinate and Glory Hybrid which is indeterminate. Eggplant will be Florida Highbush, and I have some Bright Lights Swiss chard underway. Additionally, Marconi peppers which are large roasting peppers.

I have got 1 full packet of white onion seeds (ailsa craig) and 1 full packet of red onion seeds (red baron) sowed in 2 seperate trays. 8 melon seeds in the heated propagator.
Just about to sow my toms and cucs.
And here are my chilli plants that are about 4 month old in my growing (box) room.

Three varieties of cherry tomatoes
Chillies
Two varieties of Basil
Chives
Thyme
Dragon fruit
Sweat peas, marigolds, and a variety of other flowers for companion planting

Broad beans sown three weeks ago are already outside under cloches!

hi everyone.

I dont have much in the greenhouse itself , just some chilli and Oregon Sugar snap which have been growing since autumn and are flowering/producing peas !!

I have a load of seedlings at home ready to roll out when the really cold spells are over, today i am taking up my Soya plants, which are 12" tall and have several leaves, I am hoping that the last of the really nasty weather is over, otherwise i shall have to look of ways to add extra heat to the greenhouse at night.

If there is a sudden temperature drop overnight, do you think seedlings in a propagator would be ok in the heated greenhouse?

Since my last post I've sown lots and lots of sweet peppers (sunnybrook and ramiro) all the rest of the tomatoes (millefleur, red robin and gardeners delight) and I'm just about to start on the herbs!

just sown samphire (in a propagator by itself as the water is slightly saline)
and also planted a INDIAN POTATO APIOS AMERICANA

Is it just me or are all the posts in this thread missing crucial information.... namely your location (for crops going to go outside) - I know some have a detailed location in their profile!! - and cold frame / cold greenhouse / heated greenhouse for the more tender plants?

As for me... location: South Yorkshire, frosts expected until end of May

Just planted a couple of trays of cut and come again salad leaves in the greenhouse down the lotty and also a tray of radishes, after I had put the felt on the new shed.

One type of toms germinated , one pack of sweet pepper seeds on the window sill as of today and one row or early peas planted in the garden today

Inside - Melon, marigold, tomato, chilli, aubergine, mange tout, pepper (growing) and chilli, nasturtium, sunflower, lettuce, radish & onion (germinating).

Inside (either in propagators or on windowsills) - Chillies (Pretty in Purple, Lemon Drop, Iranian Rad, Kosovoan Yellow), tomatoes (Grushkova, Orange Banana, Pigletwillie black), Dierama, Alpine Strawberries.

Outside - carrots, dwarf peas, spring onions, sweet peas, lupins, newly sown parsley.

About to go in tomorrow - potato onions, Oca (but under cover), Himalayan Strawbs, Cowberry, and Crowberry.
