gardenwitch...tomatoes tomatoes everywhere! how fab! jealous, I don't have all that room.

I've various things going on, but I have pots and modules in litter trays (empty I may add!!) everywhere, windowsills are full...so now lots of litter trays on the floor in the livingroom: lots of different herbs, Gartenperle toms, a variety of chillies, Supersweet corn (yes it's too early!), Zinnias, Nicotiana, red sunflowers (can't remember name), courgettes, Invincible Squash - I'm sure I've left some out...!

          I only started this weekend....

Have planted seeds of the following (on kitchen windowsill in unheated propagators)

Tomatoes - Sub Artic Plenty, Gardeners Delight, Black Cherry
Peppers - Yellow and Red Long peppers for roasting
          Chillis - Jalapeno & A.N. Other variety
Herbs - black basil, chives, garlic chives, rosemary, echinacea
          Peas - Kelvedon Wonder
Runner beans (not sure what variety)
          Borlotti beans
          Butternut Squash
          Summer cabbage
          Purple sprouting broccoli
          Courgettes - 2 varieties

Also got some chard, spinach and kale as well.

Of course, when I'd planted all these things out, I realised I'd not got any - plum or beefsteak tomatoes or normal eating peppers, so I had to go and get some seeds! Mr OWG has insisted that I go through my current seeds and get some of my 'spares' on the Seed Swap!

We hope to demolish our greenhouse over Easter and get a new polytunnel, so the seeds/seedlings can go in there later on.

I've got lots of tomatoes which I've just pricked out and put in the mini GH, cauliflowers, brussels sprouts, marigolds, peppers and cucumbers on the windowsil, and radish, lettuce, rocket and early carrots outside.

I did have 6 different basils, chives, moneymakers and peas which I put in my minigreenhouse this weekend and promptly got blown down the next day resulting in seed carnage! I've just gathered all the soil up and plonked it on my empty flower bed to see what happens - it's my mystery bed! And the day before my lovely cat, Noodle, decided she was most definitely going to sit on the windowsil at 5.30 in the morning and knock all my cauliflower and rocket seedlings off. Yes, I was up straight away in a blurry eyed, annoyed mess trying to save as many as possible and clearing compost off the floor and my other half's clothes, much to his dismay and amusement - well, he shouldn't leave them all on the floor should he!

                  hi all
I should explain first about the escaping chickens I have - so went out and bought some large and small cloches-so thought Icould start a few things early.

In the ground (raised beds under said cloches) I have...

Carrots (early nantes) just coming up looking good
                  Lettuce mixed leaf
                  Lambs lettuce
Little Gem- all above tiny seedlings but growing well
                  Garlic
                  Onion sets

First early pots going in tomorrow -chitting well on windowsill
Carrots (unknown variety from a friend) - on windowsill also going in ground tomorrow
2 types chilis - on windowsill
Sugarsnap peas -on windowsill (im trying for early peas and several sowing cos they were delicious last year and not enough of them.)

I cant wait for the weather to warm up - this year Im aiming for full beds with all gaps plugged.
