  • Mini Tunnel / Pound Shop

    Hi

If anyone is interested in the pound shop today they are selling the tunnel supports for mini tunnels that can be used to warm the soil up for early sowing.
They are made from steel coated in green plastic, pack of 3 for £1. No plastic covering is included however you can make your own or cover with fleece.

They also had the plastic tunnels for £1, I used these last year not very strong but you get what you pay for Still good for a quid.

Thanks for the info on this herbie,

I'll try & get into the one in Kilburn as soon as i can

For the plastic, i use the plastic that you get in B&Q as a decorating dustsheet, its far stronger

      Regards

Last year I bought 6 B & Q orange buckets to grow potatoes - drilled holes in the bottom, and removed the handles.

I hung the handles up in the corner of my shed, and reading this thread, it's just occurred to me that they could become supports for a mini tunnel - has anyone tried this before?

        best wishes
