I hadn't realised Aldi's were selling garden thingys this Thursday. Need to pop down, quite like the seed/cuttings tray. Definately don't need seeds

Oh I do love aldi and their deals, will definetly wonder down on thursday and probably end up buying more than i really need but oh well!! thanks for the post or probably wouldnt have known!!Always Helping Others To Help Themselves...Comment

Regarding the mini greenhouses - my local Morrisons has something very similar for £10. Lidl are currently selling fruit trees for £3.99 too. At least in Stoke-on-Trent they are!Comment

Not too impresed with their cold frame. The frame is made from the same green plastic that the mini greenhouse stays are made of and even though the correx may be UV stabilised I doubt the frame will be and just go brittle after a season!

might get one of these greenhouses, got a proper one from freeshare last year, but OH won't build it for me, and I haven't got the faintest idea how to do itComment

The Co-Op in Botley Oxford are selling a small walk in plastic greenhouse for £29.99 so I guess that other Co-Ops are selling them too.
Doesn't look very strong, but with enought support it should be ok.BW

I have brought some fruit trees today from Aldi.
I got Granny Smith apple, Red haven Peach, Opal Plum and Doyenne Du Comice pear.They also had Cherry trees and other apple trees. They look very good. I have planted them in the garden today.
I also got a soft fruit collection witch included Gooseberry Careless, Raspberry Glen Ample and Blackberry. It said 3 fruits and I got 5 different plants for £3.98.I refuse to have a battle of wits with an unarmed person.Comment

Thanks for the tip Galileo, popped in today and got a couple of the windowsill propagators, bargain at £2.13 each. Really needed them as I've run out of space in the bay window

I bought the Lidl coldframe last year and it did not even last the season - the polycarbonate glass became very brittle and the wind got hold of it. It all ended up in the wheelie bin.
I have just bought the Aldi version the other week but after reading someone's thoughts on here I might have wasted my money also
So I may have spent to-date £50 on two cheap coldframes when i could have bought a good quality wood and glass one - buy cheap buy twiceaka NeilComment
