So I've just pulled out my plastic tunnel cloche that spent the winter forgotten and neglected up at my allotment. It was all folded up on its side and when I pulled it out, there was some green algae from where water had collected and nature had run its course. Do you think I should bring it home and give it a half-decent scrub? Or will the eventual sunlight kill off the green stuff and I can ignore it? It doesn't look pretty, but it's only in a few spots, not blocking serious amounts of light or anything.

Should I clean my tunnel cloche?

I'm having the same dilema. Not so much should I because by the sound of it, my light blocking algae problem is worse than yours but more HOW I should clean it. They're just cheap plastic mini greenhouses from Woolies but I don't want to damage the plastic cover. I think replacement will be hard to come by.
