Plastic Cloche Tunnels

Hi all

I have got a few plastic loch tunnel things which I want to start using soon. They are tunnels without ends. Will these still warm the ground and protect the plant they cover? It seems that the wind will just run through the tunnel and let all the warm air out.

Any advice of creating ends if they are required.

I guess it depends on how exposed your site is and what the prevailing winds are. If you are going to use them on the lottie, maybe ask some of your neighbours?
